Climate Connect Aotearoa is a Tātaki Auckland Unlimited initiative supporting climate innovation through the development of an online platform and collaboration spaces online.
In collaboration with our agency partner the content & channels team at Tātaki Auckland Unlimited developed an innovative digital solution for the Climate Connect Aotearoa team.
The solution focused on providing an online collaborative space and knowledge sharing hub to address the main challenges outlined in Te Tāruke-ā-Tāwhiri: Auckland’s Climate Plan.
Through a series of innovation and ideation workshops the Climate Connect Aotearoa team created a series of clear objectives for the digital solution.
The online solution needed to be a place where climate innovators can collaborate on major climate issues we face, as well as be a community to share ideas to address the challenges.
In our first iteration of the solution we focused on creating quality content hubs describing the complex challenges, supported by a rich resources area containing useful documentation, reports and news.
Our initial campaigns hinged around brand awareness driving traffic to the platform and encouraging sign ups to our database, data which would be used for future campaigns.
In support of the Climate Connect Aotearoa platform the content & channels team developed a social media strategy and paid social media campaign.
We took time to understand the target audience and project goals which focused on fostering collaboration and specific industries and role titles.
As a result we created a Linkedin page and Linkedin Group, the group specifically offered the opportunity to develop a community of like minded individuals, all collaborating on the challenges outlined on the platform.
