Pou Kanohi is a new permanent gallery at Auckland Museum commemorating the centenary anniversary of the First World War.
Pou Kanohi New Zealand at War is a permanent gallery with the museum a campaign had to be flexible with timeless assets which could be used again and again over the coming years.
A series of smaller burst campaigns were adopted, pushing out promoted content and assets during key days and commemorations such as Anzac Day.
Utilising both the hero film asset, filmed content and animated advertising a series of campaigns were delivered across social media, news outlets and owned digital channels to drive traffic to the museum website and learn more about the gallery.
Pou Kanohi New Zealand at War is a gallery designed for a younger audience and as a result of that it contains content and experiences that are created by students and younger individuals.
A part of the campaign was to explore the stories behind the individuals who had contributed to the exhibition and describe how it felt to be part of something that will remain in the museum for over 25 years and be visited by thousands of people.
The result was a series of short interviews with the poets featured in Pou Kanohi New Zealand at War and how the felt about creating poetry which explored the stories of WWI and the effect it had on the people of New Zealand.
